Tour Description
Seven Hanging Valleys, awarded as one of the most beautiful walking routes in Portugal, this itinerary introduces us to one of the best preserved stretches of the south coast of the Algarve, between Armaçao de Pera and Carvoeiro. Starting at Praia da Marinha and ending at Praia de Vale de Centeanes, the route crosses several valleys that end, in some cases, above sea level – as if suspended -, and at other times on small beaches, such as Benagil or Carvalhal.
Along the way, we can admire the amazing geological formations of this coast, including boulders, arches, caves and sinkholes, with emphasis on the Benagil sinkhole.
We will also observe some of the rich fauna and flora existing in the place, namely the fast hunter Peregrine Falcon.
