We had to change out airfare because of the snow storm coming, I was reluctant to contact Sue on a Saturday, but I took the chance, she was right there able to help, she made us a great new flight to get back home, We had worked with her on another trip to Europe, which we had to cancel but I must say she had the patience of jobe I gave her the hotels and flights I wanted and she booked everything including dinner plans , car tansfers. She and the whole agency is wonderful and they go out of there way to help you, even on a Saturday.

If I could give more then a ten I would. The staff goes way beyound what any other travel company would do.

Loved knowing that so many details of our journey into history and art and culture in Sicily and Malta were handled with amazing attentiveness and enthusiasm. When our flight out of Malta was diverted due to wind shear, it caused a serious kink in our plans. Natalie was notified online and reached out immediately. Once again she proved the amazing value of having a knowledgeable and caring travel advisor arrange your trip. We discussed alternatives and quickly decided on a plan that actually increased our opportunities to enjoy a full day in Rome before heading home!

European Cruise - 2023

Subject: Feedback for the most amazing trip ever.

Message: Last summer my husband and I took the trip of our life time to Europe.
We worked with Jo Beth Lackey. I think she reads minds. From the moment we even started thinking about our trip to the moment we got home, everything exceeded our expectations.Jo Beth thought of every detail, everything was first class.
Our trip consisted of a cruise and stays in London and Paris. How Jo Beth was able to plan every detail, every step.
There were moments I would tell my husband, I feel like pinching my self, this all seems unreal.
All our tours were private and high class. The places we visited, the guides, the transportation, everything was perfect.
When we got of the plane in Lisbon everything started with the nicest person waiting for us who took us to our hotel in a beautiful Mercedes Benz, he had drinks and a was just a delight.
We thought, it can’t get any better than this. Well, we were wrong because every part of our trip was like this.
We have been to Europe many times, we thought we had seen a lot. But we were wrong, the trip that Jo Beth designed for us took us on excursions that we never even heard of, places that were unique, never touristy, all designed to perfection.
We went to Sesimbra, I kept telling my husband, I think we died and went to heaven. When we when in with our private guide, the owner of the restaurant that was on the water overlooking the most beautiful view eyes can dream off. He pointed to us towards an area where we could pick from the fish just brought in, can you imagine? It came from the sea to our table. They made a feast for us and brought us a house gift of a special selection of Verde Portuguese wine.
I could write a book about this trip, every experience was one better than the other.
I have already booked another trip that will take us to the Scandinavian Countries in June, and Jo Beth is again working diligently to make all our dreams come true.
One day after breakfast I did not feel well and missed an excursion, by the time I laid down, Natalie was reaching out to me to see if I needed anything to feel better, she offered to go out and get me whatever needed.
Jo Beth, we will be forever grateful for this life changing experience. We will never travel with any other company, this is the best of the best. Thank you from the bottom or our hearts.

I would say that the only things we would suggest is that traveling between countries in Europe on Veiling airlines is not great in respects to being able to bring multiple bags or carry ons without paying a hefty price, the renaissance hotel in/ near Schopil airport in Amsterdam although says it’s in the airport is not , and takes a Uber drive of 10-15 min to get there … shuttles there don’t really come very often as they say and taxis cost nearly double.
Aside from that we had no issues
Besides the hiccup of the pizza 🍕 making class in Florence which was unfortunately cancelled due to a mix up in scheduling…

Overall magnificent!! Outstanding and the people who drove us and did our tours like Greta (Florence), Mar on Barcelona, Colm in San Sebastián, Mariam in Bilboa, Irma and Gloria in Barcelona as well as our driver Xabi in Spain 🇪🇸 from San Sebastián were all amazing people. We couldn’t have asked for people that were as genuine, kind, amazing

Ireland, UK & Normandy 2023

Our family of five went to Ireland, London, Normandy and Paris, May 20-June 3. Bill, our Celtic Tours guide in Ireland, was AMAZING. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He felt like family by the end of our time together. The hotels in Dublin, Killarney, Tralee and Limerick exceeded our expectations every time. The International Hotel in Killarney was our favorite, but they were all beautiful and spotless with generous breakfasts in every one. We highly recommend the Falconry in Killarney. Most of our time in London was self-guided, save an amazing experience with Angus, our Celebrated Experiences guide for the Royal and Historic London tour. I planned the rest of what we did in London, but Robert was a huge help in plotting out logistics of travel by foot or tube getting to and from the activities we planned. There were some hiccups with our flats in London (a fire and a flood before we arrived) and Robert was on it each time, making changes for us. The West Kensington flat we ended up in was great. The AirBnB in Arromanches during our time in Normandy was big, spotless and beautifully appointed. It is outfitted with furniture, etc. for a baby, so anyone with a little one would be very comfortable here. The Serotel Suites in Paris was an odd hotel with really small rooms and a fold out sofa for sleeping. It was clean and modern, but without a restaurant or bar. It felt like an old apartment building converted to a hotel. It was ok for the one night we were there, but would have been very cramped for any longer. All of our transfers in all cities were on time and flawless. Our driver for the day in Paris was especially good! He didn't just drive us around, he was also like a tour guide, pointing out sites and sharing cool details. Next time, we'd like to know how much the transfers cost so we can tip with greater accuracy. We knew the percentage to tip, but without knowing the cost of the trip, we couldn't calculate that percentage. Otherwise, the tipping document you provided was super helpful. We were in touch with Robert several times throughout our trip and felt very taken care of from start to finish. Until next time!

Galapagos & Quito - Jan 2023

The trip to Quito and on to Galápagos Islands was totally amazing and flawless in every way. The tours in Quito were fun, informative and visually great. Guide Cynthia and driver David were super friendly and looked after or wants and safety t very step. Galápagos ..... you can not say enough about the quality of the Pikia Lodge. The staff were there when needed and not there for your alone time. We had the same guide Mario Dominguez for all our tours. His knowledge of all aspects of the islands was incredible. He looked after us like family and made sure we were able to do all the activities safely and injury free. That is not an easy task dealing with 60 & 70+ year old guests.

The yacht tours are a must to go on. The crew and ship were beyond expectations.

Belize - Dec 2022

We just got back from 8 days in Belize and I couldn't be more pleased and thankful that we used Travel Abundance to assist us on our first international family trip. Sue is such a nice person to work with. She checked in and followed up every step of the way; we had a very stressful travel day with delayed flights and delayed baggage and Sue checked in on me, and handled the phone calls with the resort an airlines to get the baggage situation handled. She made me feel confident that we had someone that we could rely on in case anything went amiss. I'm already thinking about where our next trip may be and I will 100% be working with Travel Abundance and hopefully Sue too! Thank you Natalie and Sue!

Stay: Portofino
Pros: This place is really, really nice. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean, and the property is exactly what we were looking for when we decided that we wanted to stay somewhere "off the beaten path", it's 100% island vibes. The first night we went there, the food was mediocre. We were disappointed because we had a very LONG travel day and were tired and hungry and there was nowhere else to go. BUT Portofino did redeem themselves, every lunch and breakfast we had from that day forward was really good! I think that we just arrived so late that we got the last bit of dinner that was left.
Cons: I don't want to say there are any "cons" necessarily because I think this is a great place to stay. However, I do think that there are some things that you need to be aware of. The place is very far North. Like much further than we expected. I think if it were just my husband and I, I may not have minded so much, but with two kids it was expensive to eat at the resort every day, and it was definitely a trek to find something to eat every day being that far out. There is a small kitchenette, if I had to do it over again, I would stock it with simple breakfast stuff - Cereal, bagels and cream cheese, Toast and Eggs, just some simple things to eat in at least 1 meal of the day. Access to a variety of food and the distance to town would be the only thing I would say just to be aware of. Overall 4 stars for Portofino. Great place!
Golf Cart: Island Cruiser Carts
Not too much to note here. The cart was reliable, the service was friendly and quick - they delivered to us AND picked up. One tip if staying at Portofino, it's probably better to rent and ATV, as it's a LONG ride to town on the cart :) The kids thought it was an adventure so not a complaint but something worth checking out.
Tour: Belize Food Tour and Private Snorkeling Tour with Gonzalo Lara @ Belize Unique Sea Adventures
Melva with belize food tours was amazing. She was kind, friendly, down to earth, showed us a great time, and told us the history of each restaurant. She was just a pleasant person to be around and enjoy good food with.
Gonzalo Lara gave us our snorkeling Hol Chan and Shark Alley tour with a drop off at Caye Caulker for a day to browse and eat. He was responsive from my first message and very communicative throughout the whole process. He picked us up on his boat and showed us a good time! Very friendly to my children. He does private tours and it was so nice to just be on a boat with only my family and not feel rushed at all. Gonzalo was super chill and 100% recommended him as a tour guide!
Secret beach at AC- A MUST if you have kids, and even if you don't but def if you have kids. They spent almost the whole day at the water park while my husband and I finally had a moment to just lay down and drink beer and relax. The M bar is the most expensive, so we went to the restaurant that is situated right in front of the water park. They were friendly, the food was good and reasonably priced.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The local people are really kind and helpful and the island is exactly what we were looking for. Hope to visit again!

The tours and tour guides were amazing!! The hotels were great but we didn't get too much of a chance to enjoy them beyond sleeping. I think for us in the future we'll likely request more free time to explore on our own and schedule downtime at the hotel. That isn't to say we didn't enjoy the activities planned, but with adjusting to a new time zone we were so tired at the end of the day that we passed out shortly after dinner. It also would have been beneficial to have had the list of recommended restaurants early on so that we could have made reservations sooner. The hike was also wonderful and full of beautiful scenery but I was definitely not prepared for the activity or the soreness afterwards - which is on me for being so out of shape - but I think in the future I'll request less strenuous activity. Just clarifying of course that we couldn't have asked for a more immersive experience with great attention to detail! We have so many great pictures and memories that will last us for a lifetime. Thank you!!

Fabulous Anniversary Trip - Key West 2022

The room was comfortable with an angular view of the ocean. I don’t know if it was an upgrade or not, but it was nice. They left a bottle of champaign in the room for us on the house, which was thoughtful. Breakfast by the ocean was enjoyable. My wife was happily surprised and enjoyed swimming with the dolphins most. The jet skis were also fun. The 6-hour boat adventure was windy, cold, and rainy, unfortunately, so they cancelled the parasailing, which I was looking forward to - but, hey, you can’t have everything! All the other days had nice weather. Ernest Hemingway’s home was fun to see, as I’m a bit of a writer myself. Learned a lot about Hemingway that I never knew. All in all a good trip. I will email or call if we decide to take another trip. Thanks again for everything. I appreciate all your efforts in making our 30th anniversary a memorable experience!

Romantic Hawaiian Vacation - Oct 2022

I am now a big fan of The Four Seasons! I would never have guessed there was that much of a difference between hotels! But their customer service was impeccable and the resort was just amazing. I am so grateful to Kerry for arranging our stay their!
Our suite at the Westin was over the top! The views and extra space pushed our vacation to the next level. Again, this was made possible because Kerry knows what room to request for her clients. Her expertise made our vacation unforgettable!

Majestic Colonial Club

I am fairly certain I cannot express how happy we were/are with Kerry! Our trip was fantastic thanks to her recommendation and her service was over the top. To say we were spoiled is an understatement! We were extremely happy with just the preparation for the trip. We had no idea that when we left Kerry's service was only starting. She navigated us through our flights and our arrival and transfer in the Dominican. It was a little hectic with our flights, but Kerry was already on top of the situation and made it easy for us. She checked in with us daily and helped us with anything we needed. I have already recommended Kerry to some of my friends and I will continue. She was simply terrific! The resort was fabulous. We enjoyed the beach, the pools, the food, and the waitstaff were so friendly. After a week away, my wife and I are usually ready to come home. We both wanted to stay longer. We would book the exact trip again in the future!

Birthday Party - Carnival Cruise 2022

Birthdays are a time to celebrate with friends and family! I always try to do something special for my birthday and this year was no different. So I called my friends at TravelAbundance and they found an amazing cruise, and what’s even better, my friends at TravelAbundance totally spoiled me on my special day with a slew of wonderful memories.
I have never had a big birthday bash like that! From the beautiful card to the stateroom decorations…I wanted to cry happy tears! You guys are amazing FRIENDS! Anniversary Regent Cruise

“We had a great trip, beyond our expectations. I learned a lot and everything turned out great. We had some rain in Cypress and Ephesus, other than that the weather was great. There was no crowds at the Valley of the Kings so that worked out great. We both really enjoyed the Dead Sea and Massada. Egypt was my favorite. Regent was the best cruise line we have been on. “I truly cannot say better things about Travel Abundance.  Marcus, our trip coordinator was just so incredibly responsive, informative, and understanding of our needs.  We wanted to do a trip to Egypt and Jordan for my wife's 40th birthday to see the Ancient Egyptian sites in Cairo and Luxor, Petra, and a some biblical sites in Jordan.  We were absolutely blown away by how seamless everything was- we had help at the airports and amazing guides and drivers waiting for us at every stop.  Our guide in Cairo, Hassan, was just an incredible guy- he is an Egyptologist, Archaeologist with the Ministry of Antiquities, and PhD candidate, and offered so much more about Cairo and the sites than we could have thought to read up on before we arrived.  Hany, our guide in Luxor, has over 25 years of experience as a guide (also an Egyptologist) and has an incredible cache of diagrams and notes on hand to help depict the history and mythology around all of the beautiful sites we visited.  Our guide in Jordan, Omar, grew up around Petra playing in the ruins, has served as a local guide at the site previously, and now has worked for years as a nation-wide guide touring every major tourist destination in Jordan with travelers such as ourselves.

The biggest thing I can relay is that we had the time of our lives, never once felt unsafe or unwelcome, and that we never experienced anything but warmth and hospitality while we were in Egypt and Jordan.  This was my first time using a luxury agency, and without the quality of guides, drivers, and help at the airports I don't think we would have been as blown away with our overall experience.  Happy travels!” - Ryan W. on Yelp

AMAZING HONEYMOON ON THE RHINE RIVER

“Natalie is so experienced, helpful, and thoughtful! My husband and I met Travel Abundance at a bridal show and Natalie helped us book the perfect honeymoon! We wanted to see Europe but had never left the US before, so she set us up on an amazing AmaWaterways river cruise along the Rhine River. She let us know that we would definitely bring down the average age but she encouraged us to do it if it's something we wanted! A BUCKETLIST TRIP TO AFRICA

“Just finished a two week safari vacation in Africa arranged by Sheryl Baker at TravelAbundance. What a wonderful trip...the accommodations were great and we encountered no hiccups. Our trip included two nights at the Victoria Falls Hotel with hiking and helicopter tours of the Falls!!! The sunset cruise on the Zambezi River was beautiful and fun.

The best times were the actual safaris. We had walking safaris, boat and mokoro safaris and 4 wheel drive safaris. Saw 4 of the 5 big Five (rhinos are not where we were) and had several up close and personal experiences with giraffes and elephants. The Okavango Delta is a great place to fall in love with Africa and yes, just as Sheryl said, "you'll want to go back" and I do!!

Tropical Family Reunion 

“Things are going great here, thanks to you! Weather has been fantastic. Our two Italian village rooms are great: first floor - by the pool. We eat dinner together each evening. Dad has been coming out to watch us play beach volleyball. He even went on the snorkel boat.

Food is awesome, pools are awesome, we've had a great time. Tomorrow is photos and spa for me. Beth and mom did the spa and loved it - thank you so much for your over-the-top generosity! Patricia took great care of us from the minute we landed in Venice to seeing us off at the Naples airport for our return trip to the US. We were able to bypass very long lines, such as at the Ufizzi Museum or the Vatican, b/c we were part of the Gate 1 group. “I want to thank you for doing such a great job on planning our trip to Ireland/Scotland. We had such a beautiful time at every spot you booked and each place was unique, immaculate, comfortable, and the friendliest staff.

We really loved the Abby Glen castle, It was within walking distance of the town although we didn't walk because of Hugo's knees. The breakfast and dining area of the castle looked out over the green meadows and river-indescribable. Also, met several golfers there who really enjoyed the course. At night there was live music in the lounge and we sang and enjoyed meeting so many people. The Cameron House in Glasgow was also incredible. Such service! TOP OF THE LINE but incredibly friendly, helpful staff. Sebastiun, a manager there, was so friendly, even though it is a top resort, the staff was never stuffy. The pool and spa were beautiful. THANK YOU a million for the planning-it was truly a dream vacation because of what you did.”

Honeymoon Bliss!

This is the 2nd time I've used Travel Abundance. Natalie and her team composed the perfect honeymoon for me and the Mrs to Thailand. Neither of us had been but both dying to go. We had some friends go about 6 months ago and they raved about everything from the people to the food to the cheap prices. They planned the trip themselves. Not having the time to dive in and plan the 2 wk excursion ourselves we decided to hire a travel agent. PHENOMENAL! Multi-Generation Travel to Europe

We procrastinated since it was hard to agree between so many age groups... Once we talked with Natalie, she catalyzed our group into last minute action. We even added a stop a few days before departure and a country a week or so out and she made it all happen. I do recommend doing research yourself and taking most of her recommendations. We could have saved ourselves a lot of time if we just did what she suggested... All in all, a great experience.
